Am very glad you appreciate this chaps appearance in glasses, because I damn near wear them all the time now. Without them the light or semaphore both hurt my eyes, even take them to every movie I see. Last night they had “Laura”, very good, if you haven’t seen it. Not funny but sure good acting. Reminds me of my second favorite song. (the show didn’t remind me, the band which preceded it did) Don’t even know only part of it, (well spoken sentence wasn’t it) “with my head in the clouds I think of some one I Love.” Not the exact replica of the composers original, but you get the idea I think.
Hey snotnose, hows for speaking to Marje about her letters with Frannie Ulrich. Ask her to ask Fran what Don’s new address is? I wrote the hospital out here after him, but no Ul. Seems that he and another local yokel Marine from Nebr. Are spending most of their time in hospitals. Don got malaria and yellow jaundice(?) while Big Mitch is in some dispensary suffering from a tropical bone rot. The big dumb head is about to lose a couple of feet I guess.
