Like the Queen Thouest Are

My Honey-haired Hon:

Hi Sweetheart, hope you haven’t forsaken me. No correspondence for a whole week, terrible isn’t it.

This Paul W Alvin of yours hath caused me to take quite a pummeling. Large fellow sees the humor attached but fails to see where I’m not connected in it. He claims that his address was sent to Mr. Alvin at 418 Loretta by this character. I didn’t, did I? Something that is going to make it look mighty authentic is the books I ordered a few weeks ago for him. Youve seen little self addressed cards sent out by certain organizations, by chance I picked one of same off deck tother day. It was for three pamplets (monthly) on temperance, high living and some other forgotten subject. The large fellow will appreciate our wit much less, very soon, I’m afraid.

You remember reading about the Army and Navy rotation plan don’t you? Eighteen months or two years on a tropical paradise and your relief is supposed to show. “Punchy"

says its working fine in most of the cases he’s heard of. That is except three sailors on Guam, placed there by Magellan and still waiting to be rotated.

Can you figure civilian income tax, keep books, run a home, raise a family, cook like the queen thouest are, attend parties, mix highballs, set thru ball games, swim, play tennis, golf, or greet my rich uncle properly. If you qualify in any of the above, please write K.L.Martin

I’m tired, I’m sleepy,

Tonight I’ll dream

about you Hon.

Kenny Lee
