I can’t, about their escapes on the homefront. You know that's funny. These soldiers, sailors or what they might be, expect their loves to be a virtuous female for several years--while themselves go with what they can, in every port. Funny isn’t it--not running myself down, cuz haven't had a date since I asked you to be my gal for the rest of our days. Just kinda lopsided in my opinion.--As usual, when you kind see the open part of my mind, tis after a foo brews. Always can write a ‘“bitch” (not a female dog, but an argument or Naval sore spot.) but seldom the way my heart runs. Want to be with you Hon., would cut you in on all the straight scoop.
Right now, were waiting on the enlisted mans ‘Alnav’ the Alnav is an officers list of rank increases--the EM’s Alnav is a printed sheet distributed locally only. All the lads wish me heartiest luck--me too. If we make first, will be able to have one son or daughter wifin year after redistribution--you see, they pay the extra money for knowing about the same thing.---Bet $75 on a prizefight for Aug. 4th--only at 2-1 odds, figure we can use every nickle. Want you hon, more than anything possible--Jean Ann is a nice name for widdle dirls.
